Winter and Dead Ash Trees

Be alert while driving during wind or inclement weather where there are dead ash trees next to roadways and near telephone poles and wires. Unfortunately, with the white ash under attack by the emerald ash borer, which is spreading across the country, large branches can easily fall off and cause major damage or power disruption this winter.

If you have any damaged ash on your property, this weekend would be a good time to do some cutting and trimming before winter weather arrives. This could potentially keep damage from occurring to your home and/or property.
