Herbein’s Garden Center is a full-service retail garden center located in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, serving the Lehigh Valley since 1974. Known for its premium plant selection, seasonal décor, and expert lawn and landscape advice, Herbein’s is recognized locally as a trusted source for both homeowners and professionals.

Herbein’s Garden Center began in 1974 at a location across the street from its current location. Through growth and prosperity it moved to the current location in 1984.  In the end of 2024, Lehigh Valley Lawn purchased the business from Tom Bull, the former owner.  The combining of these two companies is very exciting.  This expansion strengthens our commitment to providing top-tier lawn, garden, and landscaping solutions to the Lehigh Valley community.

Lehigh Valley Lawn, owned by the Roy family, was founded by Ron Roy in 2001 and rebranded in 2017.  Today, the company is co-owned by Ron and his sons, Matthew and Ben Roy.  Lehigh Valley Lawn has built a reputation for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction by enhancing outdoor spaces with expert landscaping services.

Herbein’s Garden Center has been a beloved fixture in Emmaus for decades, known for it’s wide selection of high-quality plants, gardening supplies, and expert advice.  The Roy family is committed to preserving Herbein’s legacy.  “We are incredibly excited to take on this new chapter with Herbein’s Garden Center,” said Matthew Roy, co-owner of Lehigh Valley Lawn.  “Our family is dedicated to continuing the outstanding service and quality of products that Herbein’s customers have come to love, while introducing improvements to better serve our community.  We look forward to enhancing our offerings and serving the Lehigh Valley with the same dedication and passion that have defined both businesses for years.”

With the combined expertise of both companies, we are now able to offer expanded on-site services, including custom installations, product deliveries, annual flower displays, and lawn care site assessments.  Additionally, with Lehigh Valley Lawn supporting the garden center, we can better accommodate the logistical needs of commercial contractors who rely on our mulch and plant products.
