Educational Seminars

The Lehigh County Humane Society will be holding (2) 20 – minute educational sessions each day at 11am & 1pm during the fundraiser! It’s perfect for children and folks of all ages as they will educate you on animal care & how to behave around an aggressive animal. A great idea to listen to if you are thinking about adopting a pet!  Also, lots of fun activities for the kids!

Dog Laws – What’s New?

For adults. Humane Police Officer, Morgan, will do a presentation on Dog Law, that is appropriate to dog owners and will also answer questions. She will Discuss the relationship of domestic abuse and animal abuse. Includes handouts. (20-30 minutes)

A Night at the Shelter

For young children. Learn about the shelter through Office Morgan’s book. Enter the Shelter contest by drawing a picture of a night at the shelter. Contest winners will receive a prize ad have their pictures displayed at the Humane Society. (30 minutes)

Check out our Animal Ambulance

For young children. Say hello to some of our adoptable animals. Learn how pretending to be a tree helps keep you safe plus other tips and games. Color BE KIND TO ANIMALS picture and add it to our clothesline!

Have your picture taken with your pet. If you don’t have one we’ll let you pose with Cricket the Australian Shepherd or Bear the Dog.
